Darn, now I've got to go look... :)

You could use a number of things I'm sure. I used Roger's 'grab.c' from his
FTP site for the BrookTree[1] obtainable here:

	ftp://telepresence.dmem.strath.ac.uk/pub/bt848/examples/

and added the line:

"grab -type ppm -format ntsc -source 1 -settle 0.75 -output $tmpfile", #
*B
SD BT848

into the my_programs array in the 'xscreensaver-getimage-video' perl script,
and set XScreenSaver up to "Grab Video Frames" in the xscreensaver-demo
dialog. Works great.

This just grabs the last TV channel you were watching.

Drat, I always meant to let Jamie know this, as he specifically asked people
to let him know.

It'd be nice if someone added something like this to the xscreensaver port
too, perhaps with a HAVE_BT848 option. :)

Although it'd be nicer still if someone were to extend 'grab' a tad, so that
it'd use a defaults file with user preferences (mostly so you didn't need so
many options on the command line), possibly change channels/use random
channels/sources etc.

Cheers,

AS
