One of the boxes will require support for FireWire IEEE 1394. While I don't expect 5.0 to ship by November 20, I was wondering what the developers on this list believe the odds are that the FireWire code will make it into a stable 5.0 release by, say, January? I am aware that there is existing FireWire code, I am just wondering by when you think the integration will likely be done.
