And I can't see a search engine requiring a PHP interface. The search currently only occurs on selected sites (maybe just www.FreeBSD.org), so it's possible if necessary, but I hope it isn't. If we do go dynamic, I'd probably suggest Zope. But that's a rather big step, and it has lots of issues that need to be looked at first.
