Thanks Yuri. The new upstream version fixes it. However I am still experien=
cing
the issues which were already mentioned by Bernard Spil in this bug report:

Oct 25 19:38:55.000 [notice] Removed 528 bytes by killing 14 circuits; 0
circuits remain alive. Also killed 0 non-linked directory connections.

over-long queues. (This behavior is controlled by MaxMemInQueues.)

over-long queues. (This behavior is controlled by MaxMemInQueues.)
Oct 25 19:38:59.000 [notice] Removed 528 bytes by killing 11 circuits; 0
circuits remain alive. Also killed 0 non-linked directory connections.

Memory was not an issue with previous versions. It is related to the new
compression options. The only way to work around it is to build without lzma
and zstd support.
