Well, you could start by RTFM.  The man page isn't very helpful,
unfortunately, but you can fight your way through it.  After
installing the port, you'll also more information than you want at

  file:/usr/ports/print/ghostscript5-5/work/gs5.50/Readme.htm

This is version 5.50, of course.  For some reason there are multiple
versions in the Ports Collection; 5.50 is the newest.
