In the windows command prompt type FDISK /MBR

This will reset the master boot record to contain no boot manager.

I have had a problem during the installation of FreeBSD. As a =
result I had to remove FreeBSD again. The only way of doing that was =
deleting the partition containing freeBSD. The problem is that I am =
stuck with the bootmanager. How can I get rid of that? (I'm working on =
a pentium with Windows 98)
