I can recommend the IBM Thinkpad R51, especially the models with Ati 7500 or 9000 graphics, because these chips are supported by the free drivers that come with Xorg. I run FreeBSD 5.4 on my R51 and I am very happy with it. I have also heard positive statements about the Samsung X20 XVM 1600. Uwe
