Anyone out there tried the program called Evolution? I tried to install it from the ports but it fails to complete. ====================================================================== $^[[B/include -L/usr/X11R6/lib conftest.c -L/usr/local/lib 1>&5 /tmp/ccZ70448.o: In function 'main': /tmp/ccZ70448.o(.text+0x4): undefined reference to '_nl_msg_cat_cntr' configure: failed program was: #line 4340 "configure" #include "confdefs.h" evol: not found int main() { extern int _nl_msg_cat_cntr;^[A[[A^[[A^[[A return _nl_msg_cat_cntr ; return 0; } configure: 4624: checking for catalogs to be installed configure: 4731: checking ORBit version (end of "config.log") *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/bonobo *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/bonobo *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/bonobo *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/bonobo *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/devel/bonobo *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/mail/evolution *** Error code 1 Stop in /usr/ports/ma5: Bad file descriptor $>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> >> il/evolution ====================================================================== I would really like to try this software, if anyone has any ideas about the problems with it on FreeBSD 4.2 (with a fresh ports update), please let me know. From what the web site describes it looks quite interesting. -- Chip Wiegand Alternative Operating Systems www.wiegand.org To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
