Subject: Clock interrupts during probes?

What are the issues involved in allowing clock interrupts during
probes? The PCI code already does this so I would think it possible
to do it for the others. It would certainly make the job of having
the SCSI code perform the proper delays between retries easier. It
would also be the first step in getting rid of the ugly DELAY()'s in
driver code.
