For your info, Matt Dillon's section on the VM system in the FreeBSD Handbook seems to suggest COPTFLAGS='-O2 -pipe'. You can verify this by looking at: http://www.freebsd.org/handbook/internals-vm.html It's right at the bottom. I wonder how many of these are floating around in the Handbook, not to mention how many have been copied out into other 3rd party documents. Ciao, Sheldon.
