Not directly SPSS-like, but http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/ports.cgi?query=statistic&stype=all&release=4.0-STABLE%2Fi386 reveals some ports in category math. In general, I'd recommend to dig in Ports collection categories biology, cad and math. You can also look at http://www.bsdapps.org/db/owa/bsdapps$.startup database. As for linux and others, You can search at SAL collection http://www.sai.msu.su/sal/index.shtml and its numerous mirrors, and somewhere at http://www.netsci.org/Resources/Software/top.html Good luck, Igor.
