I'm not sure about GT3. You can install GT2 so the components that are the same should work. The technologies used in GT3 are generally supported so it should be possiable to make it install. It might be necessicary to hack on the bundles a bit though. There are some weird interactions with BSDPAN, gpt, and portupgrade because BSDPAN expects all perl modules to be installed through ports.
