I accidentally merged the new motd with mergemaster after a complete
rebuild of a system to -stable and now, it won't boot.

How can i get back to the file system to restore the original motd (i
backed it up).

i'm in a fixit shell from the cd but don't know how to mount the
filesystems on the hard drive.
