>Description:
When configuring automatic proxy configuration in gnome2-2.26.0 via System->Preferences->Network proxy, applications like gweather-applet-2 do not seem to have network access. Manually configuring the proxy server or using the 'direct internet connection' setting work as expected.

This problem appeared after upgrading from gnome2-2.24, where it used to work correctly.
>How-To-Repeat:
Go to System->Preferences->Network proxy, check the 'Automatic proxy configuration' checkbox and enter the URL where to retrieve the config file.
Then check whether gweather-applet can successfully download weather data from the net using the configured proxy server.
