Hi all, I am currently working on a project that needs to read and write data to and from the parallel port under FreeBSD 3.3. I am wondering if there is any possibility that the standard parallel port driver might interfere with my user mode program's i/o instructions? In other words, should I disable the parallel port driver at boot time with userconfig, or can I expect to have reliable i/o to the parallel port with the driver enabled? Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated! -- Regards, Devin. To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
