See that a1exus[alexus@255.255.255.255] thing?  This is an address
that uniquely identifies you as far as the IRC server is concerned.

The parts of this address are nickname[ident@hostname.or.ip.address].
Your nickname is a1exus.
Your ident server works perfectly, replying 'alexus' when asked.
Your host is oddly set to 255.255.255.255!

It's not identd that you're having problems with.
Look elsewhere.

PS: For goodness' shake, trim your quotes.  It's *very* ugly having to
go through a message with more than 10 levels of nested quotations to
find what you are replying to!

This is also a question that has little or nothing to do with the
freebsd-isp list.  There is -questions for this type of stuff.
