Not too much help I'm afraid, but I wasn't confident in the abilities of su= ch a cheap controller (mine cost me GBP =A320, about USD $30) to work well, particularly with FreeBSD. I just set mine into "standard IDE contoller" mo= de (there was a jumper on the board to control this), and have set up a mirror= ed RAID 1 with vinum. So far it's running fine like this. =2D -- Cheers, Chris Howells -- chris@chrishowells.co.uk, howells@kde.org Web: http://chrishowells.co.uk, PGP ID: 0x33795A2C KDE/Qt/C++/PHP Developer: http://www.kde.org =2D----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.3 (FreeBSD) iD8DBQE/w1oPF8Iu1zN5WiwRAs1SAKCnDDGkdTan9XhMPRewuIF4mArmBwCfQdDZ jXGIawKPy/aLSK7kT6has8k=3D =3DyBw/ =2D----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
