I need to be able to compile programs in Motif for a class. You mentioned
that you include the libraries or toolkits. Is Motif proprietary or not?
I've heard of some project called Lessif that emulates Motif. Can I run
this instead? Is the project even off the ground? I've got Slackware Linux
on my system now, do you think that FreeBSD would be better for a computer
science student? It all looks like UNIX to me. Thanks for the help.
