The default value for squid_pidfile described in the commands of squid's rc.d script differs from the actual value initialised later in the script.
The value initialised is correct and matches the value in squid.conf.default.

Install squid from ports. Compare pidfile setting in /usr/local/etc/squid/squid.conf.default and values in /usr/local/etc/rc.d/squid
