Subject: Upgraded my laptopt to 4.r RC and I have IRQ problems.

This weekend, I upgraded my primary work machine, which happens to be a
laptop, from 4.3 RC to 4.4 RC.

Now I have _huge_ problems. It seems that whatever I insert in PCMCIA slot
0 gets assigned to IRQ 10. This is bad, as the kernel has already claimed
10.

This has been true for at least 3 cards, a Linksys E2CT (ed dirver), a 3COM
etherenet card (ep driver), and a 3COM modem. I really don't understand
this, since IRQ 10 is not even in the list of available IRQ's in
/etc/pccaard.conf, or /etc/defaults/pcard.conf.

I did manage to get a message to the effect, that pccardd was requesting
IRQ 13 (which is available), but the kernel supplied 10, instead.

Please help, I have already lost a whole day of work.
