Sergei,
FreeBSD 3.5-RELEASE is meant as a support release for those still using
3.x in production environments. It is highly recommended that all new
installations use FreeBSD 4.0 as it has more features and will be
supported by the project further into the future. 4.0 has been battle
tested by the folks at Yahoo! and is ready for mission critical
deployments. You'll be much happier in the long run if you install 4.0.
