(Cringe.)  That would be *read* -- the first time.  (I was reading 
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi/doc/en_US.ISO8859-1/books/fdp-primer/writing-style/
which mentions only the last log entry and I didn't give it enough
attention to determine that there was another page.)

Sorry.  (But not enough to withdraw my crack about about the
"discussion and consensus" claim.)
