Other things they do don't change the fundamental print-oriented nature. The general trouble with "text" and "print" is that they are fundamentally in a hierarchical relationship--text including most of print--not a peer relationship as, say, "benchmarks" and "games" are. "Graphics" and "print" have a similar problem. Just going through the existing print category, some other things I think should be moved (->) or have cross references added (xref ->): a2ps: xref -> converters html2latex: xref -> converters dvi2???: xref -> converters Lyx: -> editors (xref -> print?) makeindex: -> text (xref -> print?) tr2latex: xref -> converters Quickly looking at other categories, some things in Chinese and Vietnamese that could use cross references to print and converters, eg gbscript and hc (GB <-> BIG-5 converter). -john
