To print has large files has wanted just add to the print command -s ex. print command =3D lpr -s -r -h -P %p %s. What it does is create a symbolic link instead of copying the file to the spool directory and this goes around the limitation of lpr. >Hello, >I'm trying to print a document from a Win NT 4.0 SP4 machine to a FreeBSD server (2.2.7) using Samba >(2.0.2). It's a specific file that has a few graphics and the file generated when it prints is 1.3 >MB. It prints out the first 3 pages OK and then on the 4th page it starts printing odd lines and dots >instead of the text that is suppose to be there. I've tested this on 2 different NT machines with the >same SP and also the same Service releases for Office. Both do the same thing at the exact same >place. Now, I've also tried printing this document on a Win 95 machine and it printed ok. >Interesting fact; the Win95 print file is only 89K. Is it possible that there is a problem when files >are larger than 1 Meg or so ? If anyone has any ideas, let me know.
