I just got a couple of these (well, RPC: 1, RC: 0) on my testbox, with
sources from just before christmas.

Note that I'm munging the filesystem and VM code on that box (aiming
towards the end result of working stacking layers - I'm sick and tired
of them not working), so it may be that the errors are not related at
all.
