I have no other alternative. It took 2 hours, though, to produce a very
robust and modular sentry system using PHP to monitor all our servers
for: HTTP, FTP, MySQL and DNS. Other services can be added easily.

Since it's an internal code of the company I work for, I cannot release
it yet to the public.

i was just about to install big brother to use as a monitoring program
for
my network.  if you think that its full of security holes what would you
recommend for network monitoring?
