Whilst I agree this was inappropriate, OOo no longer creates any
version-independent name.  This means that any references to OOo
(browser or window manager shortcuts etc) must be updated whenever
OOo is updated.

Rather than totally delete this symlink, it would be preferable to
create it in $LOCALBASE (and add it to the plist so it is deleted).
