Sender: owner-freebsd-questions@FreeBSD.ORG Precedence: bulk X-Loop: FreeBSD.ORG Hi, I am trying to do a net install of freebsd 4.1 over a DHCP-based cable modem (road runner). The installer from the book floppy will not recognize the dhcp server or I'm messing up the configuration. In either case, I am stumped. Does anyone know of a solution? The installer is basically forcing me to enter network information for the card despite the presence of the dynamic IP...
