here for options added -- device fddi device fpa >Fix: You have one of these options as FDDI support is obviously broken in 6.1. 1. Don't compile FDDI support and the fea/fpa drivers into the 6.1 kernel. 2. Remove the FDDI NIC after FDDI support and fea/fpa is compiled into a 6.1 kernel. 3. Downgrade to 5.5-RELEASE which does have working FDDI support. If the machine is running 5.4 or 5.5 FDDI functions without issue. Issue may also mainfest itself with the fea driver as well as it's the same card, just with an EISA bus. I haven't tested that with one of my ALR EISA/PCI machines yet.
