Ugh...hehehe.... So when you type at&f and hit return you get and "ok"?? Then you just need to modify your init string for the modem, look in the book and look for echo, and turn it on, or you can try; AT&F0 or AT&F1 or AT&F2 and see if the factory default init strings solve the problem...
