Lets take "sem_open" man page for 9-current as example.

It was updated Sat Jan 9 05:40:46 2010 UTC (BUGS section removed)
 http://svn.freebsd.org/viewvc/base?view=revision&revision=201884

A month ago manpage on web site was still not updated accordingly.
 proof link: https://svn.boost.org/trac/boost/ticket/4524

Now this man page is updated on web site (after more then half a year). If
 regular updating is fixed, good.

Checking a few man pages shows that site is updated something like "monthly".
For me, it is also too long, but may be acceptable.
