I just installed FreeBSD-5.1 this morning and noticed I couldn't access the internet. I tried to ping a web site but got no response. I ran traceroute and after a minute or so got a complete traceroute. Any idea why I can't ping but can traceroute? I am unable to run make install to install ports because it doesn't connect. Thanks, -- Chip
