I have some problems with my pppd server (2.2.6-RELEASE). See the following outputs and I'll try to explain what was going on. Lines from /var/log/messages: Apr 9 00:18:20 sigurd pppd[1011]: pppd 2.2.0 started by root, uid 0 Apr 9 00:19:01 sigurd pppd[1011]: Connect: ppp0 <--> /dev/ttyd1 [...] Apr 9 00:26:35 sigurd pppd[1011]: Connection terminated. User ``challe'' used his FreeBSD 2.2.5-RELEASE pc to connect at 00:33. He disconnected from the server at 00:38 (according to entries in /var/log/messages). This disconnection was however not written to wtmp! Any ideas how to fix this? This happens never when using Windows client and _every_ time when using FreeBSD client!! /Martti To Unsubscribe: send mail to majordomo@FreeBSD.org with "unsubscribe freebsd-questions" in the body of the message
