Hi, pcm0: <AudioPCI ES1371> port 0xe400-0xe43f irq 9 at device 16.0 on pci0 pcm0: ac97 codec invalid or not present (id == 0) device_probe_and_attach: pcm0 attach returned 6 dmesg shows above and my cat /dev/sndstat shows cat: /dev/sndstat: Device not configured. I already created snd0 and snd1 to see if that makes any difference. This is what I have in my kernel configuration for sound. options PNPBIOS device pcm Thanks in advance.
