The fstab(5) man page is brief...(and I found useless). It would be most useful to include examples for the different file systems and what it does... If I figure it out, I'd be happy to write some enhancements to the man page... (anyone care to tell me how to specify an nfs entry?) I assume all I have to do is: <hostname>:<export> <mount_point> nfs defaults (it didn't work...I got some type of parse error). marty leisner@sdsp.mc.xerox.com Member of the League for Programming Freedom (http://www.lpf.org) Any sufficiently advanced technology is indistinguishable from magic Arthur C.
