I can't remember whether I asked this before, and if so whether it was
answered, so please bear with me again.

FreeBSD 9.3-RELEASE-p13 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Apr 7 02:37:24 UTC 2015

(I use freebsd-update every week, and it obviously picked up a new
kernel.)

pkg-static: pkgconf-0.9.7 conflicts with pkg-config-0.25_1 (installs files into the same place). Problematic file: /usr/local/bin/pkg-config

I dimly recall having some problem when following an upgrade path from
8.1, but it was so long ago i.e. months that I've forgotten...
