Yes, I am.

root@geonosis:/usr/home/yousif> portversion -v brasero
brasero-0.7.1               =  up-to-date with port

Heh, all that gobs of info I sent you, and I left out the most basic
one, huh?  Sorry about that.

I'm also on gnome-2.20, FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE, and on i386.  Here's a
uname:
FreeBSD geonosis.far-far-away.com 7.0-RELEASE FreeBSD 7.0-RELEASE #1:

My DVD writer is the stock one HP shipped with this laptop:
