In the description of porperties for the newsyslog.conf file, the size property mentions when a log reaches size, the log file will be trimmed. Is that k, meg or what? Also, the man page for newsyslog in FreeBSD 3.1 is different, but the date at the bottom of the man page is the same. Accurate documentation make's everyone happy.
