It also provides an alternative to the firefox/chrome browsers,
which allows users to stay out of data-hungry, privacy-evading
browser ideas.

And that is why I added it and that is why I think we should re-surrect
that palemoon version.

Because it allows us to attract additional user bases who
search for those alternatives.

The submitter of that particular port provided patches to
tauthon to upstram and provided us with that port and was very
surprised to see the strange reaction to his contribution. This
reinforces the view of the FreeBSD community as a very insular
group of folks not willing to accept input from the outside.
That in itself is not healthy for our community.
