Nothing from ports is used (sed from base system). Thanks for the patch. In the description you mention tap interfaces, which are used on HVM domains. Since the vif-bridge script is used to add both tap and xnb interfaces to a bridge, have you tested if this also work with PV domains that use the xnb interfaces?
