Hello,

I'm pretty new to FreeBSD but not unix as a whole. I've recently
installed version 2.2.5 onto my system, setting it up as the manual
says. Everything goes fine until I reboot the system after the CD
installation. I get the error message:

"/dev/wd0s1a on /: Specified device does not match mounted device
Filesystem mount failed, startup aborted
Enter pathname of shell or RETURN for sh:"

I also noticed another strange output:

"swapon: adding /dev/wd0s1b as swap device
Automatic reboot in progress...."

I was able to manually mount /usr and /var but still received the error.

I would really appreciate any assistance.

Thanks ahead of time,

J. Myers
