Has to do with the fact that it is actually a different gem. It used to be:

http://rubygems.org/gems/ruby-opengl

now it is:

http://rubygems.org/gems/opengl

I suppose PORTEPOCH is appropriate, sadly. I'll fix it, thanks for the
heads up.
