You'd have to look at the sources, or perhaps check out some 4.4BSD book
and perhaps inb() and outb() system calls.

Note that there is a parallel port network interface (lp0) that is enabled
on interrupt-driven ports.

NE2000-style Ethernet cards are already supported in the ed0 driver.
