All I can say is that the CVS repository (http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/cvsweb.cgi) shows 1.182.2.34 as the most recent version of the RELENG_2_2 branch, and 1.265 is tagged HEAD. I get the disturbing feeling that 1.183 isn't a part of the 2.2 tree (and must therefore be part of 3.x?), even though it was submitted back in Nov. '96. Bummer.
