Specifically: The message occurs when trying to add the route corresponding to a new interface address. One of the steps in adding the route is to use the interface address table to figure out which interface the route should be marked for use with. The message indicates that this calculation came up with a different answer than the interface that is supposed to be represented in the first place, so something is inconsistent in your configuration. -GAWollman -- Garrett A.
