However, I have managed to do okay I think (replacing the KIV commands with the K5 commands where necessary). I have now got to the stage where I run kerberos& and I get the following: Kerberos server starting Sleep forever on error Log file is /var/log/kerberos.log No master key file found. You loose. This seems fair enough as when I run kerberos (no &) I get prompted to enter the master password, which I can enter and it seems to run fine.=20 Basically - why must I do this each time and how can I solve it? Is this something to do with a conflict between K5 and KIV (maybe kerberos is part of KIV not K5?). I was also wondering if anybody else had any more information on Kerberos as a whole. There appears to be little (that I can find) regarding the FreeBSD-specific implementations. Also, why should I use K5 over KIV? Thanks very much. -lewiz. --=20 `Linux is for people who hate Microsoft.
