You will be seeing several of these, this is not a time warp, this
is a cleanup of the state of affairs in src/release with regards
to the 3 branches that where so confused any hopes of cvs merge
operations would have been futile, but will be simple after I
am done.

Because the deltas that much of this work is coming from either has
been or soon will be obsoleted from the repository I am commiting the
changes exactly as they where done in the past so we have correct log
information for them.  There will be 1 additional line and that
is the date: stamp line from the cvs rlog output, as you see it above.
