i think there's only one ircd in the ports collection:

	/usr/ports/irc/ircd-hybrid

i've been using the cyclone ircd for a while, with quite a bit of
success.

	ftp://ftp.slashnet.org/pub/cyclone/

it compiles quite cleanly on FreeBSD, and is very full featured.

it's used on slashnet, idlenet, and a couple of other IRC networks.
