I was the maintainer of this port, and I didn't see any heads-up from you
about your intention to remove it.  Did you contact any of the
maintainers?  Perhaps with some work, at least some of the ports could
have been patched to use a newer libqt, similar to what was was done when
gtk+ 1.0 was retired.  Another possibility would be to figure out
some way of having more than one libqt in the ports system at
once.  Maybe it wasn't necessary to destroy so many ports.
