One of the regulars was playing pollster, and was filling Pogo in on how strictly honest they were. It went something like this: Pollster: "We figured that the type of person who'd vote for our candidate was the type of person who'd eat mushrooms on their pizza. So, we went looking in their garbage cans for mushroom seeds. We didn't find any, so we decided to count mushmelon seeds instead." Pogo: "Gads! You must have gotten millions." Pollster: "Well, actually, our sampler claimed more people than there was on Earth. Had his license pulled for six months. Oh, we must be fair!"
